That is why there will be a huge push for the Obamas to pull a trick like the Clintons and get Muchelle to run for the seat.
 
For all the good that California is, for the absolute life of me, I can't figure the California voting patterns.
Seems like beautiful terrain and beautiful weather would have a positive effect.
 
The dems destroyed california with giveaways.
we have very high state income taxes but only about a third of Californian's pay them.

that is really all you need to know.
democrats goals are to get to a 50% mass of voters with no skin in the game.
then they can give the state away to their crony pals.

when I arrived here in the late 80s... CA was still a the golden state in almost every way. it was run well and had recently been a libertarian place.

we still have vestiges of that greatness.

for instance we have laws which dictates that cops can't give out speeding tickets on local roads unless a survey is done and the cops can show either lots of accidents or that the speed limit is high enough that 85% of the drivers go slower than the posted limit.
