and when questioned about his Muslim middle name of Hussein, he says he's a Christian.

To me, if you say you're a Christian, that means you believe what the Bible says. If you don't believe what the Bible says, you're not a Christian. The Bible is quite clear on gay issues. I'll just give you a few..."A man shall not lay with a man as he would lay with a woman, A woman shall not lay with a woman as she..." I'm sure you get the rest. There is no grey area there, that's pretty black and white to me.

So it's just more political bullshit.

It's just fine to say you're either pro gay, or a Christian, but you can't be both, you're either one or the other. There's no such thing as a gay Christian, or a gay Catholic, you're either gay, or you're a Christian or Catholic, you can't be both. The same applies to the Musilm religion.

On a side note, not only are we not allowed to say his middle name, he doesn't have the balls to say what LGBT means on his website, I had to look it up.

Yes, he's not the only politician to try and be everything to get a vote, but it's so tiring, and so hypocritical.
 
I haven't worked out yet what color he claims to be. Is it
1. black
2. black plus some white
3. half black and half white
4. sort of coffee colored
5. white with some black

I don't seem to get the picture of his origins either. Is it :
1. All American
2. Half American half Kenyan
3. A true Afro - American
4. ?

Religion wise. Is he
1. Christian
2. Islamic
3. A bit of both
4. God's chosen prophet

etc. etc.

He will have to come clean soon I guess and forego some votes when people find out. As the old saying has it " one can get mighty sore sitting on the fence too long "

What were these passions? There is no doubt in my mind that they were sexual in nature, but what kind of sexual passions were they? Searching once again through the writings of Paul, some conclusions begin to emerge that startle and surprise the reader. Paul's passions seemed to be incapable of being relieved. Why was that? Paul himself had written that if one "could not exercise self-control" that person should marry. "For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion" (1 Cor. 7:9). But we have no evidence from any source that Paul ever married. Indeed, he exhorts widows and the unmarried to "remain single as I do" (1 Cor. 7:8). A primary purpose of sexual activity in marriage, according to Paul, was to keep Satan from tempting people "through lack of self-control" (1 Cor. 7:5). Why, when Paul seemed to be so consumed with a passion he could not control, would he not take his own advice and alleviate that passion in marriage? He did write that marriage was an acceptable, if not ideal, way of life. Still, however, marriage never seemed to loom for him as a possibility.

Really? And to what would stoning be analogous? How are these blessed scriptures to be taken any less literally than your reference to Obama? How are they any less "black and white" (your words)? I don't have the decoder ring, so please advise. And as I await your response, I'd like to add that I think it is quite fancy of you to pick and choose that which is to be taken literally and that which is to conveniently be analogous.

Christians are not under the law. We are under grace and under a new commandment. This is rather elementary to a believer.

Why am I not surprise that an san fran article would try to make Paul out to be a homosexual.

For your clarification though, it doesn't matter whether this libelous allegation is true or not, homosexuality is a sin, and like all sin, it begets death.
