Is there any difference at all to which type of bars to use?

Candlesticks offer better visuals eventhough the data representation is the same.

Ok.Another thing to consider,is how the Bar types affect the indicator`s curve.Moreso,how should the indicator`s curve look like,but not from the visual point of view,but from the point of 'correctness'.Should it look smoother,or should it rather look gnarly?

It`s not about a chart style,btw,in the case of candles

if you do not use candlesticks then does not really matter.
