Whose BS is that? Historically, car accidents kill about 50,000 per year in the US. Gun death higher than that??

Imagine if those well armed households didn't have access to guns. The money they'd save could be put into their IRA's and compounded! Happy days!
Perhaps I've been watching too many youtube clips of US police officers shooting people. The facts speak for themselves - there were more people killed by police in the US in 1 month, than have been killed by UK police in the last 100 years!!
Imagine all those families that have been impacted by guns - kids growing up without a mother or father, husbands and wives lost, mums and dads, etc. All the social support structures that are needed for the families. The cost of cleaning up after the mayhem. Is it worth it?

It is projected that more deaths will occur from guns in 2015 than from prostate cancer.

The gun death rate is on an upward trend. Lunacy!
Perhaps the prerequisite to owning a gun should be a 3 figure IQ ?

Why don't we discuss the horrible crime rate in the U.K.
This is what happens when you take guns away from honest citizens and leave them helpless & easy prey for criminals.

That would almost be the equivalent of a gun ban among the gun-love community.Perhaps the prerequisite to owning a gun should be a 3 figure IQ ?

Oh god. The Daily Mail. It must be true
I'd rather take my chances walking in a dodgy neighborhood in the UK than a dodgy neighborhood in the US. Would you?
Having worked in Leeds and Bradford. No, I would not walk a dodgy neighborhood in the U.K. They drove us in & out of Bradford in an armored car every day.
In all the U.K cities there were surveillance cameras everywhere and police camera vans regularly drove around. The police were actually afraid to get out and walk the streets. At least they would find out what criminal gunned you down after the fact - thanks to their pervasive nanny state.
