they do. they even charge for incoming wires,numerous maintenance fees..man...TD bank-$100 to open,clear funds on next day(even personal check from third party). as long as you have >=100$-no maintenance fee

I can't believe some of the things they do are legal. I was working out of town a few years ago and opened an account with them so I could bank locally while working in town. One of my men told me his check bounced which was impossible I thought because I had close to $40,000 in at the time. The local banker, a young 20 something smirked while telling me it took time to clear the deposits. I asked him to check and see what deposits had cleared. He said I would have to contact my customers and have them check with their banks to see if the checks had cleared. This took several days and yes ALL deposits cleared within two days of deposit and this was 10 days after I deposited the last check. Come to find out they put a hold on my acct for suspicious activity of too many deposits in a short time. It took a little over 3 weeks to Access my funds after numerous visits with the young rude banker. Finally I spoke to a very nice lady in corporate who fixed the problem . It was a frustration and scary experience.
