Bank Breaks Into Ohio Woman’s Home, Repossesses Her Belongings

This is off the charts insanity. Max you say this is national news but i have never seen anything like this and i pay attention to the news most of the time, i bet most people haven't heard about this. And i agree with you that from the banks standpoint this is the worst possible way to do business. There is zero doubt that they fucked up and it is 100% their fault so they really need to fix it without trying to negotiate some kind of deal, it's a crime for fucks sake. This is one case where a huge lawsuit is totally justified. Once the bank manager essentially told her to go fuck herself, she should have contacted local news stations and just blown his shit up. She would have had non stop calls from lawyers all over the country.

And Lucrum i agree, i will NEVER use bac again in my life, they are petty thieves, political hacks and assholes on top of it. I really hope they bust out someday.

Yeah, the hauling company in your case did nothing wrong, as they were told by BoA and had the corresponding documentation, but someone at BoA atleast needs to be held accountable, the thing is that the example you provided is not by any means an isolated incident, its happening all the time.

The bank should be held accountable, liable for all damages including lose of housing, legal fees, hotels and food while your house is under adverse possession, etc. And hopefully the judge or someone can tack on some additional punishment fines, make this. . . well not like winning the lotto, but one of the best things to happen to the plaintiff in some time. Then let the bank punish whomever is responsible. Or not, they can let them keep on keeping on.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

The thing about these cases that never ceases to amaze me is that these companies. . . when you would think it would be a no brainer. . .

Its this stupid goddamn inability. . .

Dude, this is beuracracy. A word so totally and completely evil I will not spell it correctly for the same reasons the ancients refused to name evil spirits. At this point, the big banks (esp. Goldy and BAC) are basically arms of the government with all the usual inefficiencies and corruption increased by the fact they are further away from voters and anyone who would do anything to fix them. You guys have no idea, I mean no fuckin' idea how messed up banks are. To be fair, most of it isn't straight up corruption - damn near all, actually. The vast majority is straight up incompetence and Peter Principle squared. Shit, even Rectum and Rear_Ender are bright enough to be senior execs, provided they had the mad political skillz to get there.

Seriously, banks are almost as bad as government agencies. I kid you not.

Until politicians and bankers and CEO's go to jail for crimes we're kinda screwed. It's a police state unless you're one of the elite. They got us all fooled fighting over red or blue when it's basically the same shit except it's red, blue and gold and we ain't one of the gold ones.

By national news i mean it was all over drudge the blaze, and huffington post, i guess it still hasnt hit national network news.

I agree it was probably some low level employee who really thought they were doing their job by denying the person retail value for the things they stole, you are right, its all about beaurecracy, its hard to fathom someone who was a higher up, who was a skilled employee would not understand the gravity of the situation, and how retarded it is to save a penny but lose a dollar.

Normally, I'd agree, but considering how badly some of these guys lost their ass in the past 5-6 years, I can EASILY see how they would fight to death to try and save a penny and eventually lose a dollar.

Hmmm, either the MSM is slow to the chase(!), in league with the banks or there are facts to this story making it more of a nonstory.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

. . .First National Bank in Wellston. . .

Ah yes, that sprawling megabank FNBW. They are not doing well and have a whopping 94 million in assets.

http://banktracker.investigativerep...wellston/the-first-national-bank-of-wellston/

The old retired lady that runs the bank couldn't be reached for comment because she had to feed her cats. The bank's only other employee (her sister) does not even have a phone and could not be reached.

No wonder this is not a big story, the bank is not even big enough to be called "Bill and Ted's Big Bank and Bait Shop."

that's like.. their business model now, isn't it. just load up on shit you can't get out of showing paper gains, get fucked, go technically BK, get bailed out by taxpayers, (forgot BONUSES for a job well done), repeat. :D

Emphasized your error. People move up in banks for the same reasons they move up in government, reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with how well they did their last job or how well they are expected to perform in their new role.
