Hi, anyone trading from Bali? obviously the internet there cant be good, but i guess it is still possible?

it seems like a cheap/warm place to live for a year or two and come back a better trader/surfer

Definitely not a problem if you're a night person. Plenty trade US markets all over Asia.
 
since i program my own trading system, maybe i should host the trading program in HK (which i have a home) and do the coding/research in bali. I can remote access the computer in hk from bali to update the code maybe once a week.
 
I don't know about you all, but if I am going to be up all night it's going to be in a club in Ibiza, not glassy-eyed and watching algos from 10:30PM to 5AM. You couldn't pick worse hours to trade US products.

If one thinks of it as staying up all night, then it is obviously the wrong choice. For me I am at my best time of day, when I am most alert.

Mornings have always been the pits for me. Even eating (literally) a couple of slices of bread for breakfast was a chore.
