Well, it's a nasty, rainy, cold day here in Charlotte, NC, USA and all that warmth and sun and sand and babes sounds nice. Got two lines of questions for our Bahama Crew:

How's the `lectric? Do you have to fire up yer generator every few days? And, does this affect your internet connection? Or are you sat to the net?

How do ya handle the relatives? Don't they all want to come and stay for two weeks for a free Bahamas vacation?

Electric is generally good; burps a few times. When it burps the internet burps; we have UPSs on the routers so it is not us.

We always have visitors.

Thanks for the info, metooxx. But when your electricity bounces, doesn't that bug your ISP's network?
 
I am going to emigrate... the situation here in Germany sucks! (taxation of domestic investment income & the way of life)

I am thinking of the Bahamas, Caymans or Panama... metooxx, as a pro :cool: : what would you recommend (and why)?

Bahamas or Caymans; Bahamas have better infrastructure and are cheaper.

Panama is too third world ...
