I know most of you have been brainwashed into believing TA is the be all and end all but it's just a part of the whole puzzle.
 
Joab, you're just getting a lesson in how markets discount future events. It happens a lot in all sorts of market. You'll get it, eventually. Although you seem to have a lot of self delusion which may hold you back temporarily. Don't give up.
