How often do you guys have bad days?

I think the lesson I learned today is: Don't try to trade a stock the day after it announced earnings. WM smacked me around today.

Usually it's super easy to trade stocks after earnings
look how results were, check if analysts downgraded it.
Make sure no rumors around stock and market mood is bad
If results bad and downgrades came then be ready
Then watch it closely after it opens, when you see it really goes down short it immediatelly and put stop around 1% higher.
Be very attentive. When it's down substantially and found some resistance cover, then wait for a bounce and short again
