Bad Catalyst: If Trump Impeached

The biggest laugh these days is that in Trumpkin minds (and their limp defense) is that eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone else is a Dem.

Meanwhile myself I'd like to see both Hillary and Drumpf behind bars.

The real "collusion"

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/...s-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html

"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well."

"And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock."

A check from Vladimir Putin to Hillary Clinton in 2015 for 500,000 big ones.

You can't make this up.

You forget where all this stuff came from, and where it would be going.

Have you ever heard of Richard Lugar? (A FINE, fine Indiana Republican, from Mayor of Indianapolis to effective Senator to renowned Statesman and *definitely* forward-thinker.) Look him up. Learn some history, instead of hysteria. :wtf::confused::rolleyes:

I didn't mention "history". I'm only telling you what the Democrat party has become.

An absolute disgrace. The DNC turned it's back on the American people a long time ago.

I love the line, "Bill Clinton was the last good Republican President."
Like all good humor, it's in the truth of it that the laugh lives....:D

What is interesting is how Trump endlessly repeats 'collusion'. He forces it into tweets and interviews as many times as possible in order to brainwash followers into thinking collusion is the only thing?

If Mueller and others (like NY who are going after the charity) don't prove his personal collusion with Russia then they have failed. Anyone convicted along the way is a victim of a failed attempt to attack Trump.

It is a masterful fallacy he has engineered.

I do wonder if it will end up like Clinton. He will be impeached for a 'misdemeanor' by the House. The Senate won't follow through. This would be a protracted process however it does seem that the markets are getting immune to Trump news.

That's why they went after him so hard. He was "stealing their thunder".
Yeah, but back then, you still had the anti-partisan example of Reagan + O'Neal. AND the Southern "Dixicrat" Democrats had not yet defected to the now-Big-Government-loving Republican side.

The iceberg roll we've seen in identity labels, from Democrats <==> Republicans, is nearly the same as from Conservative <==> Liberal. But scratch *any* heavily partisan opinion-holder very deep? You'll find a fascist: one who considers the State as more important than the Citizen. Good god....

In 1885, Indiana's very Republican Benjamin Harrison pushed certain planks onto the party platform. What were they? "Work! Civil Rights! Immigration! (pro)"

"Oh, how far we've fallen...."

I think you've nailed it.
"Collusion" is not a statutory crime, and while much was made of that fact early on, it has now been seemingly forgotten. But the fact is, that whether something is a statutory crime or not is not part of the Constitution. "High Crimes & Misdemeanors" was left 'specifically unspecified" -- and the High Crime here (multiple acts of collusion, performed on TV even) would be a violation of the oath of office: to wit: to protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. There is room for argument, but to my mind, collusion would have him out in a flash.
