Backtesting software that handles limit and stop orders properly

I need a software that can handle several limit and stop orders that don't get fillied immediately and stay waiting. Amibroker does not seem to be fit for the task. Any recomendations?

I think eSignal may be something you can look at. You can use quantconnect if your logic is advanced. I use them through my Tradier Account.

but thats like 4k, I am sure there must be something cheaper out there that can do this sort of thing... I mean even MT4 can do this (but I dont like it for backtesting)

I know how to code single limit orders, thank you. It seems you are an ignorant idiot. Why did you even reply if you don't know what you are talking about? Did you even understand the question ? I don't think you did, and your reply proves it. This is about multiple limits, check your brain. Think before replying again.

Openquant has the only backtester that I trust at all. I've used half of what's out there at one time or another and been really frustrated with all the ambiguous krap and wildly differing results. I have not used AMIBroker but they might be my first choice if I had to do something on the cheap... Currently my favorite tester is live testing on a simulated account but that's just me...

I have a theory about how software is such shit for such long periods of time. Introverts are drawn to programming. Introverts value their opinions and work far higher than they value the work of others. They reject the idea that anything can be wrong with their stuff. I have to visit one forum for one trading software from time to time and the engineers regularly state that it is impossible that reported problems can be attributed to their software!
