Back testing multiple time frame?

If it's manual backtesting ...
Don't bother about historical data.
Just trade forward using a demo account !
Cause trading backward is ... Not trading IMHO.
Just spend 6 months SIM trading your strategy then see.
 
rerun historical data say in candlestick, candlestick appear one by one.
We can make the process faster like fast forward 1x, 2x and the candle appear faster.
So that we can practice even during weekend and be abale to know the result faster since can adjust the speed of candle appearance.
I know meta traders strategy tester can do that but only in one choosen time frame.
 
I did following test:
  1. made 2 different timeframes next to each other.
  2. put candlesticks in both charts
  3. run historical data
I see continuously how the candlestick changes with every quote.
You can change the speed so that you can make steps by seconds, minutes....
Works perfectly.
You can donwload Ninjatrader for free to test it.
 
Seems mostly trader here using ninjatrader, whether this platform also can using automatic trading using robot?, I just trying use scalper ea on my mt4 platform now
 
Hi. I did a search but could not find an answer so thought I would leave this question here in hope.

Can anybody point me toward the definitive learning resource (online or book) on trading multiple timeframes.

Might you can use google search to get the source what you need,
In my view trading use multiple timeframe need understand what will aim, short term plan trading rarely use weekly or daily timeframe and often use 5 or 15 M timeframe
