I would like to back test a strategy and I do t know where to start can I get any tips from you guys what software or other options I have ?

Mdtbyk,

You can manually back test a strategy with Excel or pencil and paper. Just back test for about 500 to 1000 trades and record win and loss.

Thanks I tried doing that but it involves future options so it doesn't work

I do not know how to back test future options. Hopefully, someone else can recommend some options for you.

It's very difficult to simulate accurately fills in options.
