Baby taken from parents who wanted 2nd doctor's opinion

Quote from PHOENIX TRADING:

Of course that would only happen if the Dr in hosp #1 agreed to that besides there's that $700 ambulance ride that's out of pocket.

Somehow I doubt they knew their choices were cough up 700$ for a stupid ambulance ride or have their child kidnapped by police.

What people are missing here is MD's are very sensitive/ vindictive about anyone questioning their authority/diagnosis.

Honestly some of these bozos make a toddler's temper tantrum seem rational.

Look at the lengths rcg will go to lie and obfuscate an error here (where there's virtually no cost to admitting you're wrong).

Now do you think that MD was going to facilitate getting a second opinion? I venture he knew there was a large possibility another MD would say the child is fine to go home.

MD's [probably RCG too] can be the biggest assholes. Read up on narcissism: to find a flaw in a narcissistic person's thinking is to make a lifelong enemy. I've been there and done it, one old bastard hated me until the end of his life because I ONCE made fun of a contradiction in what he was saying... Were he a doctor would he have delighted in bringing the gestapo down on me? Hell yeah, he would have loved it.. You can't go into these goddam hospitals without an attorney and it better not be some smalltime fly-by-night looking to stab you in the back either..

ricter... I really do not get why you are such an apologist for big govt.

I think you should go commit a victimless felony in front of the police station and go to the big house for maximum govt love.

Ricter's commie dog beliefs make him want 100% of the population to work for and be government employees. One big vicious circle of government helping itself.

I lamented just the other day that his mother didn't seek an abortion. :p

I'm not. It's just that we don't have big government.

Quote from Ricter:

Prove it. Until you can it's just your feeling.

Let's view it this way. Is the implementation of Obamacare going to result in more gov or less, gov workforce and bureaucrats included? Has any implementation of major gov policy ever resulted in smaller gov?

It depends on what you consider big. One thing is certain: It is bigger and growing.

That's fair. I won't argue that there will be no change in government size as a result of national healthcare. But I might argue that, if that's an increase, and if government is shrinking elsewhere, the net size change could be zero.

"It depends on what you consider big."

Absolutely. And I do think feelings are worthy of consideration (I consider myself an amateur philosopher of the Continental variety).

"One thing is certain: It is bigger and growing."
Now that statement is subject to quantitative analysis.
