They are not more tech savvy. Technology advances and so do the users of the technology. Can't be tech savvy with technology that didn't exist. Bottom line, millennial's are pussies. What would they do if faced with segregation? Actual racism and true discrimination? How would they handle the sexism of the 50's and 60's? Not the fabricated shit they feign outrage over today. The real stuff. The noose. The fire hose. The hit the door bitch, we don't hire your kind. That's what Boomers of every stripe had to grow up with. These fucking cunts today would melt like a god damn ice cream bar on a hot summer day. You piss in a bathroom next to a white man...thank a boomer. You get your fucking abortion on demand...thank a boomer. You get the job, get promoted...thank a boomer. You're gay and can live your life as you choose...thank a boomer. What the fuck are you losers protesting about today? A college education on my nickel? Fuck you! Suck it up sally and make your own way.
The civil rights act of 1964 was passed, well, in 1964. The baby boomers were born between 1946 and 1964. Thank a member of the greatest generation for civil rights.
Your dime isn’t the issue. You probably pay too much taxes and your effective rate is probably already low. It’s the wealthy that aren’t paying and they are sucking wealth from working people. And I don’t mean the household making $250k, I mean the high millionaires and billionaires.
You have to understand fiat money is based on the value of a good or service. Not gold or anything like that. Goods and services are mostly provided by middle class workers. The more money, or value of a good or service, we give to the people that don’t do the work (ie millionaire and billionaire investors and the like) the less people’s work is worth. The less their work is worth, the less wealth they have, the less wealth they have the more debt they take on and the further they are away from financial security. The more insecure the middle class is, the more insecure our consumer based economy is.
Our froggy friend posted a picture of poverty in Venezuela. Venezuela has a lot of problems, mostly that they have a huge wealth gap and a small middle class. Now their government has set those conditions mostly but the US was very similar to poverty levels prior to the 1950s. It wasn’t always Coca Cola and Levittown in America. There used to be a huge wealth gap here too and we weren’t socialist then either.
