Yes liberals, by all means, let's turn down the vitriol, the hate, the divisiveness in public life in general, in politics in particular. Starting with yourselves. A good start would be the truth; mentioning the affiliation when a liberal makes a death threat.
At an ABC Town Hall featuring those injured at last week's Tucson horror, J. Edward Fuller, a liberal political operative slightly injured in the knee, threatened an active member of the Tea Party with "You're dead" when the latter suggested gun control is not an issue.
Noel Sheppard of Newsbusters compares and contrasts ABC's response and say, Fox News' report.
For some reason, ABC News World Saturday in its report about the gathering chose to omit the seriousness of the threat and that it was made to a Tea Partier.
Hmmm....for some reason. Why, what could it be? Sheppard then includes a Fox News report of the incident and mentions that several other news outlets, including the New York Times, the Arizona Republic and even an ABC news article which mentions the various affiliations of the accuser and the accused.
The ironically call lettered Arizona station KGUN described Fuller and his business cards:
Fuller, age 63, is a political operative who specializes in gathering petitions for ballot initiatives. Before the program began, he passed out business cards to people sitting around him that read:
"Signatures
"Expediting Initiatives since 2006
"J. Eric Fuller
"Political Circulator."
Depending on his circulating, if its in liberal circles threatening Tea party members, you're not bound to hear too much about it.
Gee liberals, can't we just all get along without vitriol; can't we all accept diversity, pluralism and multi culti?
