I am well familiar with risk vs reward and money management. The first principle is never trade with your entire account. Once you determine the percentage of your account to put at risk in a trade if that number is a constant, the return will be greater with higher leverage. That may not be true for everyone so I acknowledge the possiblility of alternate realities in which math works differently.

But it works well for me. There are still some people who think buying real estate with cash is a good thing. Those are no doubt the same people who would like to trade with 1:1 leverage. They might as well buy a cd or safe mutual fund.
