Mental health is so important.
If I have a call with an accountant or lawyer, I just don't trade that day. Never know how it's going to go.

If you're running a business and trying to trade and your business is more important than trading, then find a trading strategy that fits your lifestyle. Don't sacrifice your trading because you are tried and can't fully commit to trading. I have made so many mistakes from not having the mental capacity to commit to some of my trades. And when I'm off on the weekends my trading is better because I don't have anything else to think about.

%% I never paid much attention to the CPA call, even though they tend to pay for themselves quick. Depending on the nature of the call IRS, could make a big difference; but they first use a letter...…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
For me it's usually bad news like I spent 300k last year. Then I sit and think about whether I saw 300k of value in my spending. That's the part I don't like. Then I repeat anyway. So best to know how I'm going to react.
These days I put the phone on do not disturb until I'm done for the day.
