Agree that AVG Anti-Virus Free is way better than either Norton or McAfee paid version, especially for a trading computer. (Used Norton for years, watching it get more and more bloated; couldn't tolerate McAfee's built-in obnoxiousness and outright deception about my system's protection shield, for more than a month or two.) One nice exception to "you get what you pay for."
