It's hilarious and sad that this thread has become a discussion of JH's followers.
I understand why people might follow up his every post -- there are a lot of newbies and lurkers on this site. One of them may be confused and actually think that JH has something to offer. The ET posters who follow his posts and support them with empircal evidence that JH doesn't know what he's talking about prevents these lurkers and noobs from wasting their time trying to study his "methods."
Let's also not forget that, while JH may be a successful trader, nothing that he has ever posted on ET has supported this notion.
He lost money in that contest everyone refers to.
His systems have been tested and shown to be unprofitable.
His followers do not make money.
His posts are incomprehensible.
But sure, he might actually be a profitable trader, but if he is, it's using methods that he doesn't share here.
The only difference between JH and Woodie is that JH doesn't charge people to learn his unprofitable system (as far as I know).
In other words, what does JH contribute to this forum:
- Entertainment? Maybe, depends on your viewpoint.
- Helpful advice? No.
- Profitable strategies? No.
- Instruction to struggling traders? No.
- Coherent posts? No.
- Real-time demos of his profitable trading? No.
- Good performance in trading contests? No.
- Charts with lots of boxes drawn OHLC bars? Yes.
