Stupid students. Everyone knows intellectual stuff is liberal. They should learn some welding, stay ignorant, and become conservatives.
I need to confront my white privilege: OK, did that, took a few seconds; I should go get a job now... I'll confront my beliefs about Karl Marx while we're on that subject: OK, didn't take as long to do that one. Ole' Karl is right, the guy with the machines makes the money! I'll program a computer to trade then use that money to get some 3D printers. I'll print busts of Karl Marx and sell them to university students and professors.
I don't think you are aware of how much some welders are making. They are better off than many college grads currently. They go to a trade school for a few grand, finished school in a year, and then start making pretty decent scratch, depending on location.
