I do believe there may be a treatment in the works, though. A very slow acting one: evolution. Because the other side of natural selection is natural de-selection.
Funny you should mention evolution. I was just reading the other day that the Repubs seem not to have considered the fact that a party made up largely of old white men has one unavoidable problem: old men die.
So all one has to do is bide one's time . . .
