ok...? sure, but this election may have as high a turnout as it did last time and the polling isn't exactly favorable against him. Proving once again that making elections compulsory is just virtue signaling.

Key numbers of the 2016 election:
60.1% of eligibles voted, Trump received 46.1% (63M votes) and Clinton 48.2% (almost 66M votes).

It America was a true democracy, the archaic electoral college would be replaced by a national election system based on 1 person, 1 vote. Add mandatory voting (blank vote allowed) and now you have true representation.

I don't, I precisely allude to those elections. And no, he did not get voted in but the people gave him enough power. The record turnout mattered none.

Hitler rode a minority vote into power during huge economic distress then eliminated all means for people to change their mind. It's a cautionary tale that many Americans are seemingly unaware of in recent years. Eventually he imprisoned or killed off the opposition. Interestingly, Trump is stating publicly he'd pursue similar measures. The good news here is Trump's going to be shut down very soon whether his avid supporters like it or not.
