Austin Passamonte Challenges all at ET to a $10K entry fee Contest!

Quote from Thunderdog:

Up to 10 contracts per trade with a $21k account? You're not shy, are you?
"Hello. Is this Mr. Passamonte? I'm John the margin clerk at Mirus Futures. We need you to immediately wire $584,500 to cover your margin deficit."

"Mr P?...Sir?..Are you still there?... I'm sorry sir, I don't make the rules. You should have known the risk when you signed for your account. No, nobody knew China was going to attack Taiwan..."

Austin P (not to be confused with my friend JJ)

I figured it out! JJ is actually Austin's double!

Aren't we all supposed to have a "double" somewhere here on Earth?...:D

LOL... Now that's a good one Wayne!...:p

AustinP,Jimmy Jam,

You see why people like you don't
last here long because sooner or
later they make a mistake.

Like you said I am here already a
long time and even longer as a
trader.

I am certainly not the only one wanting
to see some "proof".

Post some real-time trades to give us
a glimpse of your skills.

Wayne, huge laugh!

If the market goes -$500k against me on a 10-lot ever, the least of anyone's worry will be a margin call. Agreed?

Thanks for the levity!
Austin

You talk too smooth to be a real trader.

Do you in fact have the time to write that
much when you are a real trader ?

Any questions?

Question for Austin P.
To whom are they verifiable? Certainly they are verifiable to you. Does your broker have your permission to verify them to all who request such? Won't they require your real name? (My apology if you are already using your real name here.)

The best way to know if my mentor was a real trader is to compare his profit report for the day with mine to see if it correlates since if he taught me the system, we should be taking some of the same trades.

I looked at his report for the day, and we both took some of the same trades and both made around the same profit for the day.

I did take other trades not based on his system too, but on my own system that I am working on.

Austin is right in that you will never exactly match the teacher since you might exit early on one of trades like I did today since Mr. Chicken got to me again. Bad chicken.

I still made more money than working at a normal job, and did not have to do any over time. The time issue is probably the best reason to be a trader, not the money. Since I had to get up around the same time, but when I don't trade, spend about an hour in traffic both ways, and in the end work alot longer. Hopefully, this trading busines will work out for me, and I will not need to go back to a normal job or start a business.

My personal belief is that Austin makes money trading. However, I would never take a class from him if he was unwilling to show proof of real money trades he made for 6 months. I spent enough money taking classes, and some of them were worthless. Plus some of the books I bought were worthless too.

There's no difference between a trader with a 200K trading account and a trader with a 20K trading account and 180K safely tucked away in a MM account earning interest. Me? I trust my money in the bank a lot more than in any brokerage account. If I blow my 20K account, just wire in another 20K.
