The strength of a traders ability is incorrectly measured by his/her PnL, or the their ability to make market calls, not the process they use to achieve their goals, the knowledge and concepts they give-away in a free forum, or the instrinsic logic in their statements.
mymini showed charts which he didn't really explain, and uploaded statements which were readily downloaded, but he only gave hints of his methodology (which were mainly based on trend, psychology and money management).
market surfer got a lot of flack for his counter-trend trading method, even though it scored quite a few good hits, and when he did take a loss on it he pulled out another system that he used for trading higher volatility markets and it scored something like 15 or 20 hits in a row.
Austin doens't have anything, and certainly not anything else, to prove. he's gone in-depth in explaining his key money management concepts in both this thread (the advanced version) and his other backyard thread (which is currently in chit-chat mode, due to no fault on his part ... just the usual, oh there aren't any traders here, just pretenders, yada yada talk).
p.s. the advanced version works very well if you're trading a single market, but if you're trading multiple non-correlated markets using the same % of performance bond algorithm and spreading it across those markets instead of stacking it all in one, the results are, well, interesting.

edit: actually you could stick with the financials - as they are not pefectly correlated, however through time they will appear to move in lock step. i just perfer extremely low correlation for maxium capital protection.

This has been a very, very poor stretch of trade management for me. I've taken too many small profits on trailed stops just ahead of program spurts which would have been in my favor. A little of that is trading live, real money in HotComm with 48 clients, recorded by Camtasia for posterity.
Also, traded too much size last Friday in a comatose session. Pressed the pedal during pig of a session. Personal error, no excuses.

No questions, but thanks for posting the free stats.
The performance pretty much correlates with my own hypotheses (sans the larger drawdown, but then again, I tend to err on the side of being too conservative in my personal trading) that I drew-up based on your MM, and previous postings. It's good to know that at least some of my theories are actually applicable to real-trading.
BTW, substitute NQ for ER and ZN for 6E, and we're there. Eventually I need to branch-out into QM, but there's no point in getting that far ahead right now.

An even more agressive version?! This one lost almost 19% on the 4th day. No question, the reported end result looks quite impressive, but be sure to pack your Gravol.
What happens if you have 3 or 4 such losing days in a row?
