Audit the Federal Reserve

audit-the-fed-hr459-s202.jpg

The Federal Reserve is the chief culprit behind the economic crisis. Its unchecked power to create endless amounts of money out of thin air brought us the boom and bust cycle and causes one financial bubble after another. Since the Fed’s creation in 1913 the dollar has lost more than 96% of its value, and by recklessly inflating the money supply the Fed continues to distort interest rates and intentionally erodes the value of the dollar.

For the past 30 years, Congressman Ron Paul has worked tirelessly to bring much-needed transparency and accountability to the secretive bank. And in 2009 and 2010 his unfaltering dedication showed astonishing results: HR 1207, the bill to audit the Federal Reserve, swept the country and made the central bankers shudder at their desks. The bill passed as an amendment both in the House Financial Services Committee and in the House itself. But eventually the most significant portions of the bill were derailed. (Full story here.)

This year, Audit the Fed is back with a vengeance. Reintroduced on 01/26/2011 as HR 459, Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve now has 79 co-sponsors, and the numbers keep growing! HR 459′s companion bill in the Senate, S 202, has already attracted 2 co-sponsors.

This is history in the making, and victory is within reach. Imagine what will happen if HR 459, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, comes up for vote in Congress! It has real potential to pass — BUT only if we educate and rally the people to support it and get our Congresspeople to put it to vote and pass it.

Step 1: Your Representative

If your representative is not on the following list of HR 459 co-sponsors, call their offices, write to them, email them. Let them know they need to support HR 459. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

Audit the central banksters!

The only way this is going to pass and actually come to fruition is if we have peacful demonstrations of the likes of what is happening in Wisconsin. Congress can't ignore the collective might of the entire population of the country. Ron Paul needs much more than a number of co-sponsors. If it passes the House it's likely to die in the Senate unless there are 10 million people standing at the doorsteps of Capital Hill at the time of the vote. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see this going anywhere w/o some major influence by "We The People."

Auditing the fed is definitely a move in the right direction. It's a big hurdle but after tackling it we can move to other tasks like actually fixing the problems.

i find it funny that the release of the bailout information was supposed to be "catastrophic to the banks who approached the window" but yet, nothing happened. the fed banksters and their wall street counterparts always cry mutually assured destruction if this stuff were to happen. horseshit.

audit the fed.

Well i think the Fed and the rest of the gang (so called illuminati)
activity in monetary policy, wars, fake epidemics, etc. is simply NOT bold enough.

Its too weak to wake the ignorant, dumb, pathetic masses up.

I mean they should nuke L.A. or make a fake alien invasion combined with sending to jails 30% of the population to trigger some awakening in these dull heads filled with TV crap, hamburgers and coca cola.

Even if such audit will show that the tiny group of jews, and their not so religious friends have stolen $5 trillion - nobody will give a sh't.

On Sep 10th 2001 rumsfeld told on TV - we don't know where 2.3 trillion is.
Public reaction? NONE.
The jews are such intelligent, smart people. When the 300 million nation begs to be screwed over and over again- they do it and enjoy happy, luxurious life!
