Attn US Bond Futures Traders

Quote from TGM:

I have not had a globex terminal since 2001. So I do not know the current software layout. But you can see the whole deck---and everything in there. That is the edge of the terminal. Now I do not know if something is going to change or if there has been any changes. It has been a while since I talked with anyone that is still on a terminal. All my trading friends use other software like TT now. Globex terminals are NOT cheap. In fact the cost outweighed the benefits for me and TT worked better for me. But there are still traders who love the terminals.

I will look them up online. You need to either own or lease a seat for one. But I used to be able to see everything in the deck ---way beyond 10 deep actually---everything.

I inquired about this to the CME and they said that nobody can or will be able to view anything beyond 5 deep in the deck for the futures. If you know of someone who can please let us know how and how much.

Thanks

Well, CQG currently is able to show all the deck for the eCBOT instruments (i.e. not only the 10+10) but only 5+5 on Globex; this is quite strange that a leading data provider is involved to transmit the full stream for one exchange only and did not get an agreement with the CME to obtain the full deck, too..
