I am surprised that you were short gamma into the report. Sorry to hear.

Since they released their earnings early when they were not finished, I wonder if they were finishing the correct numbers before cooking them….....…

It was probably an accurate report. I guess RR Donnelley acidentally released a draft early.

I wonder what GOOG vola will be after they open…usual total crash a la event is over or not ?

Goog has a way with things... i traded their earnings at the beginning of my options crusade a year ago.. killed it because they are so volatile at earnings and i got lucky picking direction and strikes as a noob..

I'd think it will react much as if it had happened AH and the ensuing vol-drop at the open the next day. It will be nice to be able to get something off today when it opens.
