atticus' "ship it" vol trading journal

Not a vol-trade, so excuse the clutter but I risk reversaled my long GOOG yesterday with 5 mins to the close. Long term bullish but index has got me concerned. Maybe 700 on a SPX off 15, just throwing some chatter around. We should see a big up or down day (close to 1%) by EOW.

Short more deltas, as it looks to be headed lower. We want to settle into the short strike gradually.

Not that I care about thread ratings, but it is true the jargon on this thread is as cryptic as jack hersheys posts. I suppose one has to be a options guru to relate to what is being posted.

On another note, is the running total pnl up or down from inception? I still say buy aapl puts with friday expiry. Mkt will close lower by friday. Easy double.
