question....... MPEL... anyone ever trade options in it??? there sort of illiquid..... the bid ask spread seems like such a freaking hurdle..

I rarely trade anything under $50 and never under $15. Imagine running something reasonably complex in that ticker.

yeah... the liquidity sucks... its a macau casino play.. for the guy that i trade the account for.... he wants a position in it... blah... i have a buy write on it.. sold put, got it.. sold call.. if it gets taken at twelve.. i've got a good percentage gain on the call and the put..

looking for a interest rate play

exactly... i don't actually dislike the play.. theres just no edge in using options because of how wide the spreads are...

Ya, I've encountered BS like that in F&F accounts years ago. Nobody wins. If the play works it will embolden him to do more bets while you're managing, and if it loses you are that much further from reaching high-water.
