I was worried that Obama might lose, never cut my bets back, but acknowledged here and on other sites my concerns. Rather than any victory dance, or sore winner crap, I hope the Country can return to 2 real parties, two groups who will work For the American people, not against some portion or the other.

They will. But I think it will take an LBJ type event to get the conservatives unwound from the GOP.

The GOP has a message it can sell, but they have to get on the same sheet of music on the state and national levels, and stop writing bills to defund Planned Parenthood and things like that.

B. An agreed separation of some states.

C. Civil war.

Who, oh who is going to keep paying all the money to the freeloaders if any of these things happen?

A) The federal government will bail out the states that are bankrupt which also happen to be predominantly Democrat run states.

2) No states will ever be allowed to secede.

3) The country lacks geographic separation between left and right that would be necessary for civil war to be instigated. Its just not going to happen.

I think this country has gone perma-liberal. The democrats allowed massive immigration from Mexico, Central America and South America and those folks vote Democrat. This country is finished and we will be taxed and taxed until there is complete socialism. There will be laws put in place that makes it nearly impossible to leave the country and start somewhere else.
