Attention artful dodger, you missed a youth violence story today

I don't know about prison stats, and I don't know about the accuracy of the guys claim in the video. However, I didn't say minorities commit 85% of the crime, I said that they commit 85% of the VIOLENT crime (including rape). Important distinction and I'm sorry if I didn't make it more clear.

Sadly there are many people in prison (including people of color) who have caused no harm to anyone, except maybe themselves and really should not be there.

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

AD's cops video said that the prison population was 60-40,shouldn't it be more like 15-85 if minorities committed 85 % of the crime

Actually that's not true. According to your data, the figures for the number of arrests, and the "crimes recorded" are higher now than in the beginning of the period. Furthermore, the numbers SHOULD be getting better, because technology has improved dramatically, and it should be far easier to catch criminals, yet that's not what's happened. So, DESPITE improving technology, the numbers have increased along with the increasing diversity. Of course this data doesn't even touch the points that I am addressing which are levels of representation in violent crime commission by ethnic group vs total share of population AND levels of interracial violent crime. Of course all this data is from the DOJ, which we've established as an openly biased organization.

Quote from trendlover:

The trend is (down) for VIOLENT crime from 1993 to 2009 for the USA, and the same time the USA have more minoritys. Hmm?

And you want to credit the minorities? Holy shit.

No. I am saying violent crime trend is down from 1993 to 2009.
I am not "credit" minorities for that. You say that.
I am saying the trend show minorities are not (cause) the increase of violent crime in that time. Why? Because violent crime trend is down.
