One thing I teach my son or at least I try to on a daily basis is how one instant one moment in life can turn your world upside down. Been there done that during so many occasions in my youth. Unfortunately impulses can take over. Peace.

True. But the stakes are so different today. Every misstep of youth is immortalized on the internet.
I just don't get it...most of these idiots / traitors didn't hide their faces and / or went on social media to brag about what they did as if they didn't care about being arrested, prison time, job loss, damage to their family financial when tracked down through social media.
Ironically, the very media platform that they complain about and used to complain about the government...is now being used to track them down for their traitor / anti-democracy behavior.
I say round them all up put them on a jumbo plane and send them all to Afghanistan for their annual Jihadism training. Hopefully, they will make it there.

I recently watched the HBO documentary, Heaven's Gate, The Cult of Cults (can you believe it's been 20 years?). A bit overlong, like the title, but pretty good. I knew nothing about them, except for the Hale-Bopp bit (I had my scope out a lot that year).
