I'll make a prediction about you EMG, if or when you do make it to the mega big time you wont brag about it and you'll be a lot nicer guy than you are now. I have a few friends in that mega successful category, and a couple of them made it in the oil business and they are some of the nicest people you can imagine.
Oh you want to know about me, I'm a carpenter by trade and run a small construction business and my trading consists of managing my retirement account, the best I did day trading was a little above break even, and that didn't pay the bills. Although I'm considering giving it another shot.

Also please tell me in your opinion why the heros of the left like Buffet and Gates, are donating their money to charities (mostly over seas), as opposed to donating their money to the government.... (for the record, im all for the willfull donation of time/money to charity I just dont like it forced at the barrell of a gun.)

I suppose you could also mention George Soros, ironically as a beneficiary of capitalism, he is now the darling of the state corporatist left. In his defence, Soros did contribute a lot towards making Eastern Europe "open democracies"...
Of course, Soros is now advocating financial transaction taxes. Perhaps we should go one step further and back-date those taxes to every single transaction Mr Soros made (including the alleged insider trades)?
Whenever I meet someone who is rich and anti-capitalist, I say to them, "Sure..let's change the system, but can you wait a few years for me to get rich first before we set taxes really high for everyone else?!"
Another success story of capitalism might be Paul Tudor Jones, legendary trader and founder of the Robin Hood Foundation, tackling poverty in New York:-

Money to charity, not to government. I wonder why?
Quote from Hello:
Actually I intentionally left out Soros, he is a reprehensible scumbag who does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Buffet and Gates. But your point is still valid.

Quote from EMRGLOBAL:
If you really want to scramble the mind of a Progressive, ask her/him why not have a flat tax, across the board.
Watch the Parasites, melt in anger, throw their hands in the air and argue that the COMMON GOOD can not be supported by a FLAT TAX.
Quote from MKTrader:
But would they? I think they'd be very opposed to anything like that. .
