Bummping this thread to the top, because the MTA meeting is tommorow. The speaker is supposed to be really exceptional with systems development. If your in Atl, I'd try and make it.
Also, if anyone lives on the North side of the city, a friend of mine just opened a trading office off Winward Parkway in Alpharetta. (It is not large and they don't want it to get large, but there is room for 3-4 more traders, if anyone reading happens to live an hour out of the city like me and didn't know there was a place to trade north of atlanta, there now is.
(As far as I know it is the only one up that way in sububaria. someone can correct me if I"m wrong) Anyway if anyone wants to check it out let me know. There are only half a dozen of us trading there but it is about as sweet a setup as you could ever find.
They have two t-1's comming into the place with a choice of gr8trade or the hammer for platform options. In addition to the excellent platforms, bullets are 1 cent per share and they have a first alert machine, cyclops, a full on bloomberg (those are expensive) squawk box,(lichtenstein) ogg (guy that reads the news) over the speakers, as well as access to metastock and some other software tools that we use to develop and trade various strategies. Office is run by the best pairs trader I have ever seen.
Anyway, Atlanta traders check out the MTA meeting tommorow.
I went to the Atlanta Options meeting on Monday and learned about some iron condor 4 legged options strategy or something but have already forgotten how to put the trade on. Hopefully the MTA meeting won't be so complicated. LOL.

We hope to share with you Nelson's biography sometime later this week, but
suffice it to say that Nelson has been a pioneer in the area of mechanical
market timing systems, and he is the founder and editor of the market
newsletter Formula Research. This will likely be one of the most rewarding
presentations that we will host this year. Plus, we get to hear him before
he presents to the NY Chapter (can anyone say "front-run?").
Continued Kudos to M. Fred Meissner, Jr. for finding outstanding presenters
for our Chapter. Be sure to say thanks to Fred, and let us know if there is
someone that you would especially like to see present in the future.
