Ok smart ass...so back when there was "nothing", how did those laws of physics come around? If there was nothing, then by definition there were no physics because you need something for physics to work.

Peil, to be fair, you must accept that new observations can present very strange ideas. Consider quantum entanglement, for example. Or the relativity of time, for another. These are observed phenomena, and make no (common) sense. You could say that God, in his infinite complexity, has given us such a marvelous universe, if you will.
