Atheism: Why People Don't Believe In God

Quote from kut2k2:

When does scientific theory become dogma?

Are you nuts? Could I get a job in a major university if I didn't believe and espouse Evolution and the idea that earth is older than a few thousand years?

Macro Evolution is a theory that is the most major dogma on the planet, those of us that don't care for it are treated like ugly step children...

If you can discredit evolution, why don't you put it down in a book and become a multimillionaire? There must be huge bucks waiting for the guy who can do that.

Claiming something is so and actually providing evidence to support the claim are two different things. This is why arraignments (accusations) and trials (convictions/acquittals) are two separate things in courts of law.

Does this make sense to anybody besides FeenixRetard?

Quote from kut2k2:

I have some questions. Where did you get the idea that there is God? Or more importantly, where did you get the idea that there is one and only one God? What if there are two gods named, say, Jehovah and Satan? Or what if there are 46 gods and they decide what to do by a majority vote?

Based on the world we live in, how can you claim to have any knowledge at all about a god or gods? As you say, the bible (or pick any other religious books you please) contains errors. So how do you know what is true and what is false?

+1

Without the bible the entire concept of god would not exist. And please, let's stop spelling god with a capital letter.

Quote from byteme:

riskfreetrading, in all seriousness, I have definitive and conclusive proof that God does not exist.

However, I'm not going to reveal this proof to you as you will not be willing to look at the evidence.

LOL
