Quote from OPTIONAL777:

...People like you confuse the musings of a scientist with actual science...
Actually, it was jem who brought up Hawking out of context in a preposterous effort to align jem's own theism with science.

And what are your posts about God, other than mere musings? (Not all musings are created equal.)

So now you blame it on jem?

LOL!

:D

My musings are no different from Hawking. Just because he is a scientist that doesn't make his musings any more factual, logical, or true. It is a logically fallacy and a bogus appeal to authority think they are more valid.

I have faith in mine, Hawking has faith in his, jem has faith in Jesus, stu has faith in Gilbert, and you have faith in Richard Dawkins...

Everyone practices their own religion free of persecution, which should be the American way...

Lol ! yea right.

You’re practiced at telling people what they believe and whether or not they have faith in things. Those sound like the musing of a persecutor wishing for half a chance at it.

You feel persecuted.

That has nothing to do with me.

It has to do with your childhood wounding...

I'm not your angry father or your Parrish priest...

Get over it.

Gee, I would have thought by now that Gilbert would have healed your childhood hurt...

Is this another of your fine musings? I did not believe in God for decades before I even heard of Dawkins. My "faith" is in the principles of science as a layman can understand them. Your faith is limited to musings.

The delusional musings in your imaginary friend God and those you voice about people in general are obviously borne of the same chronic imaginations in each other.
No need to remind anyone the anger you display comes via a psychosis of someone who thinks a Giant Elf made everything.
Gee.

Lots of theists have faith in God, and then one day they find the preacher, holy father, prophet, etc. that they have always been looking for.

You found Richard Dawkins, jolly good!

Let me see, you have faith in a Giant Sky Daddy Fairy +1.

Why do you deny your childhood wounding?

Your repeated remarks about "childhood wounding" bear the mark of someone who suffered. You associate everyone whose views threaten your own with "childhood wounding." Even jem could connect those dots if he tried.

Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.

That has nothing to do with the common condition of atheists suffering from childhood issues with daddy, religion, churches, etc.

Vitz's study has revealed that many of the atheists he studied had issues with their father.

Honestly, would you say that the vocal ET atheists are accepting, tolerant, and cool with religion...or would you say they have an ax to grind against religion?

I see lots of problems with organized religions, but that in my mind has nothing to do with God.

It has to do with human beings and their nature. I see lots of problems with nearly any organized group of people.
