That's correct. In NJ, however, they're considered a gun under state law. Mind boggling isn't it!

I wonder if NJ will enact some kind of laws limiting the sale of sling shots...

I think a BB gun is spring powered.

I would have taken mine apart to see but I think it was molded or riveted closed.

I did get my sister's Mickey Mouse watch apart to see how it worked. (Had some trouble getting it back together again though. So many little parts. I couldn't even get the case closed again. :D )

We don't even need a BATF, alcohol tobacco and firearms are all legal in this country. We could save $1.1 Billion or 1/10 of our deficit just by shutting down this useless agency.

While we're at it get rid of dept of Education, annual savings $69.8 billion. And the dept of energy annual savings over $30 billion.
