ATAS-Order flow/Tape reading

Forget it for stocks, we have dark pools now, and it's not only for the real big big boys. I know 2 traders who trade their own account with size on dark pools.

Nothing on Level2 about these guys.

I see more and more education about it, must be that edge is completely gone now, so they can start selling courses about it.

I find time and sales pretty usefull because you see if transactions go to the bid or to the ask.
On Level 2 you only see only limit orders (no market orders) which could vanish very fast.
 
he means FORGET TAPE READING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't see market orders because they are filled almost instantly.. you do see the fills though or the match
