I lived in Cary, North Carolina for many years. There should be two things noted about Cary. It has one of the lowest crime rates in the U.S. always being ranked in the top 10 safest cities/towns in the United States. Cary also has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the U.S. - Cary includes many former military families who own guns.

The gun crime rate in Cary in lower than any Canadian city/town of equivalent size.

Most gun safes are to stop children, they are a boon to a thief.
