Tony, I’m not arguing that there’s nothing wrong with our criminal justice system. By all means it needs an overhaul. We need to do away with private prisons. Asset forfeiture without a conviction is criminal, those two top my list. There’s lots we can debate and agree on but if you’re a violent career criminal, there’s no reason to endanger the public by releasing you while you await trial.

I have no problem with the bail system I just point out the hypocrisy of those who pick and choose what rights they like.Many right wingers are willing to die if the government tries to take their guns,but flexible on innocent until proven guilty.
