ASX stock options with IB?

IB web-site now has the option to apply for trading of ASX stock options.

Commissions (AUD 3.00 per contract) seem to be lower then most exchanges; considering the multiplier is 1000x and no cancellation fees. (They do charge for assignments AUD 2.75 though).

Can anybody please confirm if it is actually possible for IB retail customers to trade ASX options on individual stocks?

I can't give you an answer,but if you find out that you can trade options thru IB, one of my mates writes a lot of equity options on the ASX and he would probably be interested in checking them out.
