yes it is. Stop/Loss is one of the few ways maintain a reliable edge. R:R and $w:$L are the keys to the equation. You're looking for 1.5R+ moves (1.5*Risk). Risk is obviously the stop. Default is 1R system @ 50% is breakeven.

I have Sunday has a bearish cycle using a different strategy, but the underlying trend is strong up so it might be a fight again like it was early this week.

On Sundays that the Jets beat the Patriots in the Playoffs, the S&P has never breached the 1300 level when the moon is in the seventh house, and jupiter aligns with mars. So based on that I am all in short, with my broker whose main office is in Venus.

Explain what filtering an edge means in this context, as far I understand it does not adress the two issues I raised:

1)a few winners does not mean the strategy is profitable

2)the OP uses many input so without knowing th exact rules, we don't know how much importance the moon input has
