Assistance with ChartTrader

Hi,

Having trouble setting up ChartTrader. Had it working and after some fiddling broke it. Currently it says I have to "Enter a Valid Price" after I click 'Buy' Button. It shows the blue line which I can set with the mouse, but I get that message when I click the price. I also want a 12 tick stop market order and a 24 tick Limit profit order backet. I have no 'Presets'. Just configuring the button on the chart. Any suggestions?

Even though you said that you don't use order presets, to me it sounds like a problem with the order presets. Have you tried setting up the same in your paper trading account?
 
Even though I had nothing set in global preferences, it was still overriding the chart settings. Deleted the existence of it.

I do also have two simple chart questions. What do I use to have the current trade price on the Y- axis. I don't like bid and ask, they overlap. Currently i have High/Low and Last checked. But if you look at my chart it is only showing the low, and I guess the yellow is supposed to be High? (what's that about?) But no current trade price.

That's the normal behaviour. Having no preset is the same as having the default preset without any changes.

If you have both Last and High/Low checked, day high is shown in green, day low is shown in red and last price is shown in yellow.

Day high should be somewhere higher on your Y-axis. You showed only a partial screenshot. You might want to check Display Vertical Scrollbar in the Chart Parameters. Anyhow, sometimes TWS behaves strange. If you encounter these kind of problems try unchecking both Last and High/Low in the Chart Parameters, click Apply and OK. Then go into Chart Parameters again, re-check both and hit Apply and OK.

btw, High/Low is only shown during RTH.
