But mind you, if the stock ever trades below $75, you may not get the price improvement and you will be losing out on the commissions.

It depends on the broker.
1 Not all brokers accept stops orders for execution prior to 9:30 am or after 4 pm. This is exactly what the OP is talking about.
2. GTC orders are not executable outside of regular market hours.
3. Furthermore no broker accepts market orders to be executed outside of regular markets orders.
My suggestion is to watch it yourself and execute a buy order at the offer price or higher as it approaches $75.Stocks trade very thin in the pre-market. A few hundred shares can move a stock sharply.
**The correct thing to have done would have been to buy it back in the after hour session on Friday as soon as you saw it was in the money. Anything else is just gambling.

It's C. The stock is very liquid. If liquidity is a concern, OP can scale the trade.
Every trade is a gamble. The stock could just as easily have gone down after Friday so why risk having a loss when you could've avoided it or even turned it into a profit.

Thank you all! My account says I am in a margin call and to deposit $X (Potential Reg T call). I created a EXT_GTC order for the 500 shares. Wont the 500 shares make me whole? Do I need to still deposit the funds? I can, I would just rather not.
Once you buy the stock your margin call will be satisfied
And now you have a dilemma. Stock is up 50cents to about 75.7. Do you cover now or wait and see if it drops?
You stated (here) that you had enough in the account to cover the 500. Covering the 500 will satisfy the call.
