Assent anvil API alternative

Hello, I am posting this for a friend. With assent shutdown, is there a broker which offers a trading platform with easy to program API?

Do you know of any other company that offers a fast and easy to program API with lots of examples. Any company that offers execution messages in milliseconds or microseconds. Thanks.
 
you might consider tradelink.... tradelink is open source and free and supports 12 different brokers and 3 data feeds. This would allow you to switch between different brokers without changing your strategy until you found one that is right for you.
