Pascal is supported. There is a good GNU Pascal that will run on any computer. Modern computer languages are terrible for skilled programmers because they are all based on the managers controlling serf coder (usually out sourcing) organizational model of classes that means no one has any idea how programs work (See Linus Torvald's posts on why C is better than C++). In the electronic design hardware description language (HDL) area, Pascal like Verilog is holding its own against object oriented System Verilog.

Never heard classes being described as a means for "managers controlling serf coders" before! Sounds like 1989 called and is looking for it's "skilled programmers" back.
Pascal and C are both descendents of ALGOL and C++ is an extension of C. The DC-3 and the Ford Trimotor are both descendents of the Wright flier and the Boeing 787 is a descendent of the DC-3. That in no way indicates that there is anything in common between a Ford Trimotor and a 787 except that both have wings and fly. Likewise Pascal and C++ don't have much in common other than both being programming languages and some basic features that all programming languages will have by virtue of being a programming language.

There is only best way for you - forget about any non popular languages and use main stream. C# JAVA etc. Or you will pay tripple price for any advise or consulting. Rare language - expensive language.
