Asian Market Index Futures? Anyone does trading at night?

Due to work, I can't trade US market well during work hours.

Anyone does trading Asian market index futures? Chinese market? Han seng? Korea?
I use Interactive Brokers.

Hopefully, the futures market is liquid and reasonably fast.
Can anyone recommend with their experiences and the ticker names?

There are many exchanges you can choose from.


Hongkong futures exchange
Singapore exchange
Thailand futures exchange
Korea Derivatives
Sydney Futures exchange

various China exchanges (but restricted)
 
I'm following some equity index futures on the Singapore exchange (SGX). IB's symbol names: NIFTY, SGXNK, XINA50. These futures all trade in USD currency. One disadvantage is that these contracts have a relatively short "life span" as they only trade in reasonable volume during the last month before they expire. So if you are holding positions for week(s) you will have to roll over positions more often than what is common at e.g. CME.
Of course could you get each of these also at their "domestic" exchange (e.g. Nikkei in Osaka, etc.) but then you are exposing yourself to multiple currencies.
The Korean KOSPI index is available at the Korean exchange (K200 @ KSE). Be aware though that there are certain limitations on exchanging KRW to other currencies.
 
Asian markets seems to be very attractive for both swing and day trading. I do not have direct experience, but several members of this board have spoken highly about HSI index futures and also the Nikkei 225 and NIFTY futures.

Comments I've read include saying that these instruments are volatile, trends better than US index futures and allegedly have less HFT.

Living in Norway, the time zone is not ideal for me (trading day would start at midnight), but I'm actually not opposed to adding these to my arsenal myself. For US residents - Asian index futures seems like a fantastic opportunity as you basically can work a full time job, get an hour or two of rest and then start trading.

If I were you - I'd start researching HSI and Nikkei futures. Do some searches here and dig up old threads on the subject.

I've been hearing very good things about HSI index futures.
I applied for the access request to Asian market futures through Interactive Brokers.

Plus, I heard that there is less HFT, and it feels like more human trading compared to US market

***** Update Here *****

As summary, I'm very satisfied with Interactive Brokers.

I found two futures tickers
HSI (50 HKD per point)
MHI (10 HKD per point) . MHI is the mini version which I prefer

Each trade commission is 17 HKD (which is about 2.2 USD).
Pretty good !

For the speed, it's really fast and I can't distinguish between US market futures (ES, NQ).
Market data is about 3 USD per month I think.


Now I have something to do at 9:15 PM EST until I sleep !
